I have a thirty year career of supporting and guiding people with social and emotional challenges. I have fifteen years as a school counselor where I continue to provide group and individual counseling and skills training to fourth and fifth graders. I have six years experience providing therapy to teens and younger children in a behavioral health setting and a wilderness therapy program. I have also been involved in Habilitative Intervention/PSR, and as a DDA Clinical Director.
Most recently I have developed programs teaching leadership and social awareness skills to children. I have designed groups dealing with trauma and/or grief, self-harm and depression symptoms. I am a licensed Professional Counselor and a licensed School Counselor. I am certified in CPR, and have been in the past a Licensed Habilitative Interventionist, Developmental Specialist and Licensed Intensive Behavior Interventionist. I have also been a licensed QP and have lead Addiction Recovery groups.
Outside of my career, I am a father and grandfather, avid soccer fan and an outdoor enthusiast. I enjoy traveling often with my wife of thirty-three years and cruising is our passion.
